Apple TV+ has announced more details on its highly anticipated original series with Jon Stewart. Apple says that the show will be titled The Problem with Jon Stewart, and it will debut on Apple TV+ this fall. The show was first reported back in October 2020. Apple says that this show is only the first project to come from what will be a multi-year partnership between Stewart and TV+. The Justice League Release the Snyder Cut movement will get some support at New York Comic Con from Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld. Before it hit theaters in late 2017, the road to release for Warner Bros. and DC Films’ Justice League was fraught with production troubles, including director Zack Snyder’s exit after his daughter died by suicide, leading to Joss Whedon joining the project for reshoots. Much of Snyder’s original vision for Justice League was changed by Whedon’s reshoots, and many criticized the theatrical cut of being a Frankenstein job of the two directors’ styles....

KGI research has published a new report that claims Apple will incorporate its Touch ID fingerprint sensor into all new iOS devices launched in 2014. This includes both new iPhone models, and the next versions of the full-size iPad an its ‘mini’ counterpart. The note also states that Touch ID sensor shipments will increase by 233% this year, which would certainly make sense if the technology was going to be added to so many new devices....

A new report out from KGI’s Ming-Chi Kuo includes some interesting details about Apple’s planned fall product releases. Firstly, Kuo expects iPhone shipments to fall in the current quarter as anticipation builds for the new iPhone dubbed the ‘iPhone 6s’, although apparently ‘Force Touch yields are low’ which may constrict availability at the beginning. For Apple Watch, following a report earlier in the year to expect new materials for Apple Watch casings, Kuo claims Apple will launch new Apple Watch Sport color options to match the new iPhone....

Composer Tom Holkenborg, best known to viewers as Junkie XL, is launching the SCORE Academy, which is a program designed to train aspiring film composers. In his career that spans two decades, Holkenborg has lent his talents to a variety of projects, most notably blockbusters such as Mad Max: Fury Road, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Deadpool. Rian Johnson’s Knives Out was one of the best-reviewed films of 2019.
