A photo of Henry Cavill’s Superman with the mustache that was digitally removed in Justice League has finally found its way onto the internet - and no, this isn’t an April Fool’s joke. Cavill grew the mustache for his role in Mission: Impossible - Fallout, but had to return for extensive Justice League reshoots in the middle of Fallout’s production. Since Paramount Pictures wouldn’t allow him to shave off the mustache in the middle of filming, it had to be digitally removed in post-production, leaving Cavill’s Superman with a strange CGI upper lip and chin....

Apple’s latest legal fight with Qualcomm started last week and a jury verdict today spells disappointing news for Apple. The jury for the suit voted that Apple infringed on all three of the patents that Qualcomm based the case on as it seeks $31 million in damages. As reported by CNET, one of the key factors was that the jury dismissed the idea that one of Apple’s former engineers should be credited with co-invention on one of the patents....

Following just hours after a Digitimes report on ‘AirPods 3′, the veritable TF Industries’ Ming-Chi Kuo reports that Apple is set to launch two new AirPods hardware models as early as the fourth quarter of 2019, quoting a ‘4Q19 – 1Q20’ timeframe. One of these models is reported as an iterative update to the existing AirPods, and other will come with an all-new form factor and associated higher price. The model with the same external design would apparently keep the same price point as today’s second generation AirPods....

Prominent Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI is out this weekend with a new investor note, but this one focuses almost entirely on Samsung and its upcoming Galaxy S8 refresh. Nevertheless, there are a couple of tidbits about Apple inside the report… Kuo believes that Samsung will see weaker demand for its Galaxy S8 this than it did for the Galaxy S7 last year. One reason for this is that last year, Samsung essentially released a single flagship device because of the Note 7 debacle....
