Joss Whedon’s new HBO sci-fi show The Nevers has added six more characters to its cast. The show was officially ordered straight-to-series by HBO last July and marks a long-awaited return to television for Whedon. The Nevers is the first show he has created since Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which premiered in 2013 and will air its final season in 2020 after Marvel canceled the show last month. The series comes at an opportune time in Whedon’s career after he departed the DC Batgirl movie he was set to direct last year....

Karamo Brown, star of Queer Eye, has been eliminated from Dancing with the Stars’ Halloween special. This marks the season’s most shocking elimination since Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Val Chmerkovskiy exited the show. Brown was booted from the competition on October 28 following the team challenge and his impassioned dance to “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child. He and his partner Jenna were decked out in Victorian-inspired Day of the Dead costumes as they danced the paso doble....

Fox producers are expecting Kevin Feige to recast Wolverine for the MCU. Disney currently expects to complete their Fox acquisition by June, at which point they’ll take ownership of the bulk of Fox’s film and TV empire. Disney CEO Bob Iger has already confirmed that the X-Men and Fantastic Four will be handed back to Marvel Studios, to become part of the massive Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is possibly the biggest challenge Marvel has ever faced....

It appears that internet trolls have gotten the best of Khloe Kardashian after she recently deactivated her Instagram comments due to shady accusations of her getting “nasty” lip injections. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star recently uploaded three new selfies to Instagram where she gave a shoutout to Skin Thesis, a skincare clinic in West Hollywood, CA. But after some of Khloe’s followers accused her of getting lip injections, the Good American founder deactivated the comment feature on the post....

Friends and admirers of Kobe Bryant remember and pay their respects to the late basketball legend. On Sunday, January 26th, Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, were among several who lost their lives in a deadly helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is out today with a new investor note focused on Apple’s iPhone lineup for 2020 and 2021. Kuo says there will be four new OLED iPhone models in 2020, followed by a new iPhone without a Lightning port in 2021. 2020 OLED iPhones Kuo predicts that Apple will introduce 5.4-inch, two 6.1-inch, and a 6.7-inch OLED iPhone models in 2020. He says that all four of these iPhones will also feature 5G connectivity....

Local Chinese authorities are refuting a report from yesterday, which said that they had told Foxconn it that could not open its iPhone production factories on February 10 like previously scheduled. Reuters reports today that Shenzhen authorities are still conducting checks and have yet to make a final decision. Reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is also out today with a new investor note detailing the effect of coronavirus on Apple’s production....

Soldiers have been warned by the U.S. military about potential violence during Joker screenings. Directed by Todd Phillips, the next Warner Bros. and DC project officially gives the iconic comic villain his own origin story. Joaquin Phoenix plays the titular role, and the film takes fans back to the 1980s when the character was still simply known as Arthur Fleck - a failed comedian.
