The tweet was posted in the midst of another rant by Kanye, during which he criticized various new outlets and told everyone to “shut up and enjoy the greatness.” Kanye owns a stake in Tidal and exclusively made the album available on the platform last Friday, while also holding an event at Madison Square Garden that was exclusively live streamed on the streaming service, as well....

KGI Securities has issued a new report on iPhone 8 and Apple Watch Series 3 pre-order sales after the initial launch weekend. Both new products hit stores this Friday with pre-orders starting three days ago. KGI believes the iPhone X may be impacting iPhone 8 sales while the Apple Watch Series 3 is seeing stronger-than-expected demand. In today’s report, KGI notes that newly launched iPhones typically ship 3-6 weeks after being ordered while most iPhone 8 models are shipping in 1-2 weeks or less....

According to a report from Reuters, following a request from Greenlight Capital, a judge has blocked Apple from going through with a shareholder proposal that would require a shareholder vote before issuing preferred stock. The request by Greenlight Capital’s David Einhorn followed a lawsuit that claimed Apple’s upcoming “Proposal 2” does not adhere to regulatory rules. Greenlight argued the proposal bundled three distinct proposals; the hedge fund manager backs two of them, but not the third proposal regarding preferred stock....

Joker director Todd Phillips clears the air over a possible sequel, saying no deal is in place right now.
