Jude Law’s character in Captain Marvel has been at the center of a great deal of debate and discussion. Apple may have just announced its latest MacBook Pro refresh, but a new note from reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities is already offering a look at what Apple has in store for next year’s models. According to the note, Apple is planning both a price cut as well as an internal hardware refresh for its MacBook Pro lineup. The report is overall optimistic about the 2017 MacBook lineup, noting that Apple tends to overprice at the start of a new MacBook generation before gradually lowering the price in the following year....

When it comes to Christmas/Holiday shopping this year, its advantage Apple with kids abandoning traditional gifts and toys in favor of an iPad or some other slice of Cupertino-designed tech gladness. The most recent Duracell Toy Report claims two-thirds of teens (13-16-year-olds) want Apple products, such as the iPhone 4, iPad and iPod touch. The incident happened last week when a member of JRD left a full unencrypted backup of JRD on AWS S3 server. The company said that it was possible for a third-party to find and download the backup. On Tuesday, SentinelOne published an analysis of the bug, tracked as CVE-2021-45388 and deemed critical by the research team. The vulnerability impacts the KCodes NetUSB kernel module. KCodes solutions are licensed by numerous hardware vendors to provide USB over IP functionality in products including routers, printers, and flash storage devices. KCodes NetUSB, the subject of a SEC Consult Vulnerability Lab analysis in the past, is proprietary software used to facilitate these connections – and the software is currently “used by a large number of network device vendors,” of which the security flaws “affect millions of end-user router devices,” according to SentinelOne....
