From 9to5Google: Some iOS users might not be too happy about the big design changes in iOS 7, but Android users are already finding ways to get a few of the new features on their non-Apple phones. The image above shows a set of icons created by one Android user to mimic the new home screen icons on iOS 7 (via Cnet). Android users can grab the icons through a download on Dropbox and use Nova Launcher or other home screen replacement apps to get Apple’s controversial new look on their Android device now....

The Krypton season 2 finale includes a perfect tribute to Christopher Reeve’s Superman. The moment occurs when Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe), Superman’s grandfather, delivers one of the Man of Steel’s most memorable lines from the 1980 movie, Superman II. This isn’t the first time Krypton has used Seg-El to drop references to Superman. Earlier this season, Seg conjured up comparisons to Superman when he opened his jacket in a way that mimicked Superman’s iconic “shirt rip”....

A KGI report predicts that Apple will begin using its own processors for Macs “in the next 1-2 years,” with a specific prediction of a Samsung-fabbed A10X chip powering at least one Mac made in 2016. With performance between an Atom and Core i3, the chip would not be suitable for mid- to high-end Macs....

As the holiday shopping season officially begins, KGI’s Ming-Chi Kuo is out with a new investor note this morning touching on iPhone X demand and supply. Kuo explains in the note that while some believe the iPhone X’s quickly improving supply is due to low demand, he attributes it to production improvements with demand remaining strong… The analyst says that Hon Hai’s shipments of iPhone X units have climbed to 440,000 to 550,000 units per day....

Although we may be just three days away from the unveiling of the iPhone 6S, which will mirror the iPhone 6 in appearance, KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is already looking forward to the iPhone after the iPhone 6S, which would be named ‘iPhone 7’ if Apple followed previous year trends. In the tock year, Apple has typically changed the way the iPhone looks externally and apparently 2016 will be no different....

Scarlett Johansson claims Disney purchasing Fox did not affect her new film Jojo Rabbit at all. Johansson stars as Rosie Betzler, a German woman who secretly shelters a young Jewish girl in her home. This makes life very confusing for Rosie’s son Jojo, a fanatical Hitler youth hoping to become a dedicated Nazi....

Julianne Hough followed up the America’s Got Talent controversy with a musical return after her New Year’s Eve Show. The Footloose actress hopes to record new music in 2020, following a lengthy hiatus from singing. After a triumphant performance of her single “Transform” on the September finale of America’s Got Talent, Hough looked to be in the throes of a comeback. However, she and costar Gabrielle Union were fired from the competition show shortly thereafter....
