Xbox fans around the world will soon have a chance to play four classic games from the Kingdom Hearts series, as Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX will be available on Xbox One later this month. The games in the Kingdom Hearts series have mostly been released on Nintendo and PlayStation systems, but they have usually skipped the Xbox line of consoles, as well as PC. There has been a growing relationship between Square Enix and Microsoft of late, as it was announced back in November that several classic Final Fantasy games are coming to Game Pass in 2020....

The Joker press tour has been messy, and it’s not doing the movie any favors. Warner Bros. was always going to have a tough time promoting Joker, the reimagining of the Clown Prince of Crime’s origin story. It’s a prequel of sorts with little concern for wider DC canon; it’s a violent R-rated drama steeped in realism; and it’s directed by Todd Phillips, a man best known for making The Hangover trilogy....

Warner Bros’ Joker takes down another Venom box office record. Directed by Todd Phillips, the psychological thriller received a wide U.S. release on Oct. 4, and easily won the box office competition with a $93.5 million take, thus beating Venom’s October opening weekend box office record. Joker has now topped Venom’s 2018 October Monday box office record as well. Joker has polarized general moviegoers and critics since the stand-alone film was first announced....

If three important moments in Jurassic World’s short film, Battle at Big Rock, looked familiar, that’s because they already happened in a previous Jurassic Park movie. These scenes appear to be copied from the second installment in the franchise, The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, Universal’s eight-minute short film, Jurassic World: Battle at Big Rock, takes place one year after the events of the last movie, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which saw the entire dinosaur population that was left alive set free into the wild....

In January of 2010, Kodak sued Apple and RIM for infringing on their patent to preview photographs. The lawsuit is still going on, but today Wall Street Journal is reporting that Kodak is currently looking to sell 10% of their patent portfolio, which includes the patent Apple and RIM are bring sued for. The 1,100 patents include patents covering capturing, storing, organizing and sharing digital image. WSJ credits the sale to Kodak’s loss in profit over the last two quarters....
