A district judge dismissed a lawsuit against Apple today in which the plaintiffs alleged that the company had willingly sold MacBooks with logic boards that were known to fail after two years. The judge said that Benedict Verceles and Uriel Marcus failed to show that Apple knew the boards were defective. The plaintiffs have made a few big claims, including an assertion that Tim Cook was notified about the defective logic boards and did nothing to fix the issue....

Justice League cinematographer Fabian Wagner confirms that he shot scenes with Darkseid as part of Zack Snyder’s version of the film. Its been almost two years since Warner Bros. released Justice League into theaters, but the movie that fans got was not the same as it was originally intended for audiences. Director Zack Snyder had to make changes to his script early on after the reception to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but some of the biggest differences in the film came further along in the process after the director had exited the project in early 2017....

Kong: Skull Island is just one week away from its March 10 release, but the film is not done being promoted just yet. The final trailer promised plenty of great action and humor while some new original posters celebrated Kong as the King. In an interview with CNET, Jony Ive said that his team had rejected a touchscreen Mac ‘many, many years ago.’ He did, though, suggest that Apple is working on other concepts in this general area, beyond the Touch Bar. Asked why a touchscreen Mac would be inappropriate, Ive said: We of course think we know one of those things already … For a bunch of practical reasons. Reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is out today with a new investor note. Kuo reiterates that all three new iPhones in 2019 will add support for bilateral wireless charging, building on what he said in a separate investor note earlier this year. To accommodate two-way wireless charging, however, all three new iPhones will also get bigger batteries. Kuo says that the 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.5-inch iPhones will all add support for bilateral charging this year....
