Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian thinks her sister Kylie Jenner’s billionaire status is a bit much. For the reality star trying to wrap such a large status around her head is mind-boggling to her.
Kylie was named the world’s youngest billionaire by Forbes magazine in March, and since then, it has been a whirlwind of press. Fans of the Kardashian family believe that everything they touch turns to gold thanks to all their hard work and lucky timing. Kylie Cosmetics expanded into Ulta last year and earned $360 million, making the company worth around $900 million, which, according to Forbes, is just the conservative figure. The company had come a long way since its three lip kits were launched back in 2015.
According to People, it seems there may be some sibling rivalry going on with the Kardashians. The eldest sister, Kourtney, opened up about what it is really like to have a billionaire for a little sister. On Monday’s premiere of The Real, Kourtney said that having the status of a billionaire can be very intimidating. She explained that it made her think, “When is enough?” The mother explained to hosts, Jeannie Mai, Tamera Mowry, Loni Love, and Adrienne Bailon Houghton that with their high status, she tends to miss out on a lot of normal, everyday life. She said she did not like to miss out on doing homework with her children or after school activities. For the reality star, she decided to take a stand regarding earning more money or being a mother. The whole family has aimed to make power moves to grow their net worth; Kim has a new shapewear line called SKIMS, Kourtney has her own lifestyle brand called Poosh, Khloe sells Good American denim, and Kendall was the highest-paid model in the world for 2018.
The youngest sister’s billion-dollar empire also comes from a line of product endorsements that she had been asked to do. The makeup mogul had previously pushed Fit Tea Wraps, a waist trainer, and her partnership with Adidas. Her Keeping Up With The Kardashians paycheck and earnings from her clothing line Kendall + Kylie have all brought in millions of dollars in income. Unsurprisingly, Kylie gives credit to social media for her success as she has over 128 million followers on Instagram.
The Kardashian family is obviously successful in their endeavors, having little to no trouble acquiring assets and expanding all their brands. Kourtney, who credits her success to their TV show, has said that all the fame and money happened so quickly that she never really had the chance to think about it. The star has also stated that she would not make her kids star on the hit show; she will leave the choice up to them when the time comes.
