Kim Kardashian West from Keeping Up With the Kardashians recently showed off her dancing skills in a TikTok with her daughter North. The adorable mommy-daughter moment ushered in North’s newly inherited role as the latest princess of social media.
Kardashian rose to fame as a star on Twitter and Instagram. Now it seems that she’s passed the torch on to her firstborn. In a TikTok clip posted to Kardashians’s Instagram account, she showed North’s inherited musical talent as well as her ability to captivate in front of the camera. North has a lot of great ladies to draw from as inspiration aside from her famous family, she’s also a huge fan of Internet sensation JoJo Siwa. Siwa and North even appeared in a video together, which was documented by the Keeping Up With the Kardashians cameras. North, who turns seven in June, is already off to a good start with her social media domination.
Both mom and daughter danced a choreographed number to Bomba Estéreo’s “To My Love (Tainy Remix).” The video was also stylized with some slick post-production effects including fast-forwarded movement as well as a filter that multiplied the two subjects into three mirror images of themselves. While the video may be the first of its kind that the public is seeing, North has been quite active on the popular social media platform, as Kardashian West told Entertainment Tonight: “We do lots of TikToks together, and she puts them in drafts.” The mother of four revealed, “She’s not allowed to post them, but we have a lot of TikToks. I might post one soon.” Her TikTok clip received favorable reviews from Noah Cyrus as well as LaLa Anthony, to name a few. To date, it has more than nine million views on Instagram. The video collaboration between North and Kardashian comes as no surprise since the KKW Beauty founder divulged that her daughter has multiple private social media accounts. She made the disclosure while walking the red carpet at this year’s Vanity Fair Oscars after-party.
It’s true what they say about the apple not falling far from the tree. North West is a natural at social media, just like the rest of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians cast. In general, it’s so important for parents to provide their kids with an innocent childhood, given all of the adult themes and scary news in the world these days. Watching North play around with her mom is inspiring, considering how busy Kardashian is with law school and running her companies. It just goes to show that anyone can make time with their children, no matter what the capacity. Even when it’s giving a kid 10 minutes of bonding, a wonderful memory can be made. As for North, its a delight seeing her personality emerge. She’s a natural-born performer, so let’s hope dad Kanye West is the next to recognize his daughter’s skills.
