Kim Kardashian West from Keeping Up With the Kardashians shows what a regular morning with four kids is like in her recent Instagram post. The mogul mom let fans into her home by showcasing her kids eating and congregating with each across the kitchen table.
In the photo is big sister North, holding on to a little dog, while standing beside her baby sister Chicago, who is smiling into the camera. Meanwhile, Kim and Kanye appear to entertain little Saint with a stuffed animal, as baby Psalm strikes an adorable glare from his baby carrier. The entire family is gathered around a chic wooden table, covered with bowls of cereal, fresh fruits, and plates with eggs and sausages on them. Kim, who has totally shed her Valley girl image, holds court as the matriarch of her young family. She’s also becoming more relatable in her public life as a sex symbol AND as a working mom and student, and fans are loving every minute of the change. To date, the post which Kardashian West captioned, “Morning Madness” has received more than four million likes, including one from her younger sister Khloe.
Kardashian West’s breakfast post on Instagram isn’t the first time her little ones have been photographed in all their beautiful chaos. The aspiring attorney recently told Ellen Degeneres that getting her kids together for the family’s annual Christmas card was also an ordeal. “It’s the most anxiety to get four kids together smiling in a room,” she explained. “North was having a day, so she refused to be in the shoot. She just was crying because she wanted her specific hairstyle, whatever.” In the end, her daughter was digitally inserted into the image, creating a picture-perfect holiday moment.
The West children may finally be settling into their own rhythm in 2020. The kids are bonding with each other and learning to love the camera, despite North’s fussiness during the holiday photo. Kim recently chronicled her eldest daughter’s foray into makeup artistry by painting her own face and her sibling’s faces in the style of Pennywise from the thriller It. Despite the sweetness of the project, Kim was dismayed to see a red streak of makeup from the project left on an off-white couch in their home. However, she also joked with Ellen that her famous husband has called the kids’ drawing mishaps on the household furnishings “art.”
Even with the busy work lives of Kim Kardashian West and her husband Kanye, they’ve managed to slow down enough to give their children what looks like a stable and traditional home life. Watching North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm at play is great to see. So many parents have careers that force them to miss out on the little moments with their children. They don’t have the money or the time to even have a meal with their kids. The images that Kim has posted are a wonderful reminder that no matter what your socioeconomic background is, we can all take a moment to sit and chill and reconnect with each other. It’s also a nice moment for the family to have and look back on in the years to come, as the kids get older and start to assert more of their independence.
