The star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian recently revealed she goes to bed at the same time as her kids. However, her early turn-in has had some positive effects in her life, proving that there truly is a method to her madness.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is a sought-after makeup, fashion, and all-around business mogul. In 2019, she released a shapewear collection called SKIMS. She also has a cosmetics line called KKW Beauty. Since their wedding in 2014, she has devoted lots of time to her rapper husband Kanye West. Alongside being a businesswoman and wife, she’s also a mother of four -  North, 6, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and baby Psalm who just turned six-months-old. With so many people in the household who need her, there are challenges with being able to give them equal attention. That’s why Kardashian has employed a simple fix with her schedule that’s made things much more manageable.

Kardashian revealed some information about her lifestyle while chatting with Australian show, Sunrise (via Cheat Sheet), she revealed,  “I go to bed when the kids go to bed.” The makeup mogul continued, “I don’t drink, I don’t stay out late at night. So I think that really does help.” That’s a far cry from the socialite that has walked many a red carpet, and appeared at events all over the world. She revealed how she manages to get everything done, saying, “I just micromanage my day. I know every day I wake up at a specific time and I have my schedule set in stone and I really don’t like to veer off of that, because it’s so planned out and with four kids, you just have to be so organized. So being organized is key.”

Kardashian is also in pursuit of a new career as an attorney, which she hopes to complete by 2022. In doing so, she’ll be following in the footsteps of her late father, Robert Kardashian, who served as a member of OJ Simpson’s “Dream Team” of defense lawyers during his 1994 murder trial. Kardashian hopes to pass the bar exam and use her status as an attorney to create prison reform in the United States Justice system.

From the beginning of her career as a reality star, Kardashian has had to battle low expectations about her intelligence and professional acumen. However, with a current net worth of nearly $400 million, she’s left behind her sidekick-status to people like Paris Hilton and singer Brandy. For decades, women have pondered how they can have it all; Kardashian seems to be writing the instruction manual for juggling family and business while maintaining her position as one of the most photographed women in modern history. With careful planning and plenty of ambition, she is well on her way to becoming an important political figure, as well as building on the beauty and fashion iconography that her fans know and love. If the next phase of her career success is as glowing as her past and present pursuits, she could once-and-for-all silence the few haters who still regard her as a Calabasas Valley Girl - not too bad for a 39-year-old with an early bedtime.
