Kim Kardashian West and family were a page right out of history this Halloween. The Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star went as Betty Rubble and was joined by husband Kanye West as Dino, followed by their four children who dressed as Wilma, Pebbles, Bamm-Bamm, and Fred Flintstone.
Since their show first aired in 2007, the Kardashian family has been entertaining the reality TV audiences, with Kim at the center of it all. The beauty mogul married rapper Kanye West in 2014, which was featured on season 9 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Currently, the couple has four children - North, 6, Saint, 3, followed by daughter Chicago, 20-months, and four-month-old Psalm. The Kardashians are known for their over-the-top Halloween looks, often wearing multiple different costumes. This year, following an already-impressive Elle Woods costume, the aspiring law student committed her entire family to this throw-back Halloween look.
Kim’s eldest daughter, North, and son Saint played the roles of Fred and Wilma Flintstone, while her youngest daughter, Chicago, dressed in a red wig complete with a faux hair bone to channel Pebbles. Kim, who dressed as Betty Rubble, held newborn Psalm in her arms, dressed in a Bamm-Bamm costume, leaving dad to dress as the beloved family pet, Dino. After all, no Flintstones crew is complete without Dino! Kanye portrayed the family dinosaur in a head-to-toe costume. The family posed together against a prehistoric backdrop for a Halloween photo shoot. See the adorable family photo below:
The Kardashian fans loved the commitment the Kardashian-West family demonstrated this Halloween, but they also noticed something else - Chicago’s presence in the photo looks a bit unnatural. Apparently she wasn’t a fan of seeing her dad dressed as Dino. Kim captioned the adorable family Halloween picture, “This family pic was such a challenge because Chicago was so scared of Dino! LOL We tried to explain and show her that it was just daddy but she didn’t get the concept yet!” In the photo, fans can see Chicago in the corner dressed up, scared, and looking rather off. Kim explained, “So shout out to the photographer for editing her in & making our family [Flintstones] dreams come true!”
Despite baby Chicago’s unwillingness to participate, the family photos were a success that fans the world over enjoyed. The Kardashian’s are no stranger to the Halloween holiday, dressing up in iconic costumes year after year. As is tradition, the beauty mogul had more than one Halloween trick up her sleeve. Earlier in the Halloween week, Kim revealed her Legally Blonde-inspired costume, complete with a Harvard Law admissions video. Like mother like daughter, North also had more than one look to reveal this Halloween. She was seen dressed up with cousin Penelope Scotland as a devil and an angel-devil mashup, respectively. Fans are looking forward to the holiday season and can’t wait to see what the iconic Kardashian Christmas card will look like this year.
