Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian recently revealed how much she prefers her husband Kanye West’s new “mature and spiritual” music over his older music. Amid the release of Kanye’s 9th studio album, Jesus Is King, his superstar wife Kim Kardashian West admitted that she prefers Kanye’s new sound over his previous rap music.
Since her family’s show first aired in 2007, Kim and the Kardashian/Jenner family has been entertaining the reality TV audiences, with the KKW founder at the center of it all. The beauty mogul married rapper Kanye West in 2014, in a wedding that was featured on season 9 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Currently, the superstar couple has four children - North, 6, Saint, 3, followed by daughter Chicago, 20-months, and four-month-old Psalm. The reality TV star revealed that she and Kanye are not going to have any more kids after their youngest, Psalm’s birth. She made the announcement just ahead of their 5th wedding anniversary where Kim decided to have a special anniversary present by surprising Kanye with a private vow renewal ceremony with just their families.
Now, four kids in, Kim and Kanye have walked into a new spiritual level of their relationship. Following the release of Kanye’s latest album and accompanying IMAX film, Jesus Is King, on Friday, a source told People that Kardashian West is “really his biggest fan.” According to the insider the 39-year-old TV personality “much prefers his new album over previous ones.” The insider explained, “This one is so much more mature and spiritual.” The source close to the family continued, “Like music that their kids can actually listen to. It doesn’t have any foul language. She loves how Kanye is evolving."
Kanye’s highly anticipated gospel album, which was originally scheduled to drop on September 27, is West’s first since 2018’s Ye. The accompanying movie is intended to resemble West’s Sunday Service. IMAX spoke about Kanye’s film experience by saying, “This one-of-a-kind experience features songs arranged by West in the gospel tradition along with music from his new album JESUS IS KING - all presented in the immersive sound and stunning clarity of IMAX.” Kanye held a special screening Jesus Is King and the accompanying IMAX film at The Forum in Los Angeles. The source revealed, “Kanye’s fans were beyond excited and Kim felt so proud of him.” Kim is also said to have been so happy to be a part of her husband’s film showcase, the source revealed, “She loved being part of his event last night.”
Now with the release of Kanye’s new music, the couple’s renewed vows, and their rock-solid family of six - it appears the Wests are all set to enjoy the holidays together. After Kim and her children were baptized in Armenia, it seems that the family is getting more in touch with their spiritual side than ever.
