Kim Kardashian and Kanye West helped celebrate Diddy’s 50th birthday. The mogul’s star-studded party hosted Usher, Kevin Hart, Beyonce, Machine Gun Kelly, Tyler Perry, and more. Other members of the Kardashian-Jenner family were also in attendance.

The Making the Band star turned 50 on November 4, but he was willing to postpone his celebration to make sure each of his famous friends could attend. His $40 million Holmby Hills mansion was the site of the affair. Guests dined on McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches and pies. They were also treated to Diddy’s own Ciroc vodka, as well as various CBD products. Still, it was the sights and sounds that left the guests reeling.

“It was an emotional evening. [Gospel singer] Marvin Sapp sang Puffy’s favorite spiritual song, ‘Never Would Have Made It.’ Puffy got real emotional,” said one guest. According to Page Six, the night was full of reunions. “It was definitely the first time exes Ray-J and Kim had been in the same room in a while,” said another attendee. “The Carters [Jay-Z and Beyonce] and the Wests were in the same section and said hello.” That moment was even captured on film, with a photo of one-time estranged collaborators Kanye and Jay-Z happily shaking hands.

Despite Diddy’s charmed life, the last few years have been harrowing for him. His ex and mother of his twin daughters, Kim Porter, died unexpectedly from pneumonia. He parted ways with long-term love Cassie, who married Alex Fine soon after and gave birth to a daughter in 2019. He also had a short-lived fling with talk-show host Steve Harvey’s daughter, Lori. That relationship reportedly ended when Harvey and his wife Marjorie expressed concerns over the couple’s age difference. Thankfully, Diddy has six children who adore him and were in attendance at the party. Knowing that there are loved ones who admire him, but are less impressed by his reputation, is worth its weight in gold for the man who has everything.

When thinking back on the career of Sean “Diddy” Combs, it’s wonderful to see how far he’s come. From his humble days as an intern at Uptown Records to his brotherly collaboration with Notorious B.I.G., and throughout his second life as a reality star, Combs has demonstrated that longevity is never out of one’s reach. His famous friends are proof that with his success, he’s remained loyal to those in his life and has taken the time to cultivate those relationships over the years. Not only that, but Combs makes 50 look like 25. Even with a rough couple of years behind him, he and his legendary birthday celebration are giving age 50 a much-needed makeover. Here’s hoping the next half-century delivers the same amount of wealth, fun, and success that Combs is currently known for. Happy birthday, Diddy!
