Star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian just confirmed that Kylie Jenner and ex-boyfriend Travis Scott aren’t engaged. Though there have been rumors swirling around about the bling on Kylie’s left hand, it’s definitely not an engagement ring, according to Kim.
22-year-old Kylie first found fame with her family’s reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians when she was only 10-years-old. The reality TV star started dating 28-year-old rapper Travis Scott back in April 2017 when they were spotted packing on the PDA at Coachella, around the time she became the youngest billionaire. Less than a year later, the two welcomed their daughter, Stormi Webster. However, back in February of this year, there were some allegations that Travis had cheated. The couple tried to work through it, but ultimately they decided to take a break this last October. The pair split, but are trying their best to co-parent their 21-month-old daughter and even spent Thanksgiving together.
Though both Kylie and Travis are committed to being the best parents they can be for their 22-month-old daughter, they are by no means together. Kylie’s older half-sister, Kim Kardashian, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (via People) earlier this week where she spoke about rumors regarding Kylie’s relationship status. Ellen cut right to the chase, asking about Kylie’s relationship to Travis being more than just a friendship and co-parents. Though there have been rumors that Kylie’s new tear-shaped diamond ring on her left hand is from Kylie’s on-again-off-again boyfriend Travis, Kim revealed that it wasn’t. She said, “Definitely, they’re not engaged.” She also noted that Kylie had been wearing the extravagant ring on the wrong finger, as she wore it on her first finger instead of the ring finger.
Kim revealed to Ellen that she thinks that Kylie was the one who bought the ring, not Travis or some mystery man, saying, “I think she bought that herself because she was showing us.” Though she was able to adamantly deny that Kylie is not engaged to Travis, she wasn’t able to completely deny any dating rumors between the two. She said, “I honestly don’t know, but I think that they are just really close friends and co-parenting amazingly.” Kylie and 28-year-old Travis were spotted together at a casino over the Thanksgiving holiday, spending time together without their daughter Stormi, which sparked a lot of dating rumors. Kim continued, “I don’t know the status if they’re together or not. I don’t think they are.”
Though there are many signs pointing toward Kylie and Travis working it out, there is no solid evidence and Kim isn’t helping with that. It seems that for the time being, the rapper and the Keeping Up with the Kardashian star are staying close for the sake of their daughter. It remains to be seen if sparks will start flying again.
