Keeping Up with the Kardashian’s Kim Kardashian reveals that she and Kanye West are not going to have any more kids after their youngest, Psalm’s birth, just ahead of their 5th wedding anniversary. Kim decided to have a special anniversary present by surprising Kanye with a private vow renewal ceremony with just their families.
Since their show first aired in 2007, the Kardashian family has been entertaining the reality TV audiences, with Kim at the center of it all. The beauty mogul married rapper Kanye West in 2014, which was featured on season 9 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Currently, the couple has four children - North, 6, Saint, 3, followed by daughter Chicago, 20-months, and four-month-old Psalm. Kim had both North and Saint but then turned to surrogacy for Chicago and Psalm, due to Kim suffering from placenta accreta during her two pregnancies. Just as Psalm was to be born via surrogate, there was also her and Kanye’s 5th wedding anniversary to think about and plan.
On Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (via People), Kim and Kanye welcome their fourth child and second son, Psalm West. Kim talked about the birth, saying, “Our surrogate is so amazing. She had the easiest delivery. She pushed literally maybe one time. Kourtney and Kanye were in the room with me.” Kim continued saying that she feels “so complete” and that having four kids is “the perfect number for me.” The new mom of four continued to express how happy she is but revealed that she will not be having any more children. “I feel so full in the best way, but I’m done.” Kim brought Psalm to meet the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner family at dinner and revealed how they chose Psalm’s name. After thinking about naming the baby, “Ye” in honor of Kanye’s rap name and shoe brand, “Yeezy,” but they decided against it because Kanye felt like it didn’t have enough meaning behind it. Ultimately it was Kylie that really decided, Kim explained, “Kylie called at the last second and was like, ‘No!’ Psalm and Saint sound good together.”
Kim expressed how she wanted to do something extra-special for her and Kanye’s five-year anniversary. She spoke to Scott Disick about how much Kanye has “stepped up” since Psalm has been born. She decided to throw a private vow renewal ceremony on their anniversary with their entire family. Kim said, “I think it’s so special that all four of our kids are here.” She continued, “It’ll just be really sweet, and I’m excited that everyone is coming over.” The ceremony was off-camera, but Kim did wear a white dress for the occasion and she did read the opening line of the vows she wrote for her husband as a surprise that was filmed. Kim read, “You are my husband. You are my best friend. My biggest believer and my one true love.”
As such a private and personal part of their life, Kim decided not to share the intimate vow renewal ceremony with fans. It seems that since their family is growing, the more private the special moments are becoming. For now, four children are enough, but since Kanye expressed that he still wants more, it remains to be seen if their family will continue to grow.
