Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ Khloé Kardashian is so successful, it’s sometimes hard for her to keep up with all of the awards. She recently won favorite reality TV star at the 2019 People’s Choice Awards on Sunday and didn’t even realize until much later.

Khloé has been apart of her family’s reality TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, since the start back in 2007. Since then, the show has gone on to entertain audiences for 18 seasons - making it the longest ever running reality TV show in America. The show itself has won many awards including many People Choice awards and plenty of Teen Choice awards as well. Khloé is no stranger to winning awards either. She won the award for female reality TV star consecutively for four years, between 2010-2013. Last year she won 2018’s People’s Choice award for Favorite Reality TV Star - beating out her half-sister, Kylie Jenner.

Khloé attended the 2019 People Choice Awards on Sunday alongside her sisters Kim Kardashian West and Kourtney Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner. The family took home the award for the best reality TV show. Unbeknownst to Khloé, she had also nabbed the best reality TV star award. The family took the stage and accepted their award and Kim and Kris spoke to the audience, thanking them for the award, meanwhile Khloé and Kourtney stood off to the side smiling. After their short speech, the women were ushered off stage and back to their seats. Viewers at home were quick to notice that Khloé didn’t acknowledge her individual award. One fan tweeted her, “btch we ain’t voting next year if you just gon stand up there and not say sht.” Khloé did her best to rectify the situation, by clearing up the misunderstanding. See the tweet below:

Khloé responded to her fan by explaining the circumstances at the award show, saying “It’s so beyond loud in there. I had no idea I won an individual award until we walked off stage.” She explained to her fans that it was a simple misunderstanding, she explained, “I feel so badly right now.” The reality TV star went on to express her gratitude for her fans who voted for her, saying, “I am so f*cking grateful and appreciative!” The 35-year-old star finished the post by reiterating that it was a simple mix-up, writing, “I can’t believe I didn’t say anything but I didn’t hear that I won until after.” Khloé continued to thank her fans - who she calls her “Khlovers” - for their love and support.

It seems that Khloé wasn’t trying to diss her fans by not giving a speech on stage, but that it was just a simple misunderstanding. Though there are the few fans who are genuinely upset about not being acknowledged, it seems overwhelmingly the Khlovers are supportive of Khloé and are letting her know that they back her no matter what.
