Star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ Khloé Kardashian is keeping it cordial. A source revealed that Khloé wants “nothing but the best” for her ex-husband Lamar Odom after he publically announced his engagement to health and life coach, Sabrina Parr.
Lamar and Khloé were married back in 2009, from 2011-2012 the couple had their own show titled Khloé and Lamar, which ran for 2 seasons. The show followed the married couple throughout their busy schedules and documented their struggle with infertility. There were also plenty of breakup and cheating rumors that plagued the couple throughout their marriage. Towards the end of their marriage, Lamar began to have problems regarding drug addiction, and the pair finally split after four years of marriage; Khloé filed for or divorce in 2013, but after Lamar’s near-fatal drug overdose in a brothel, Khloé withdrew the papers. Then in 2016, the pair were officially divorced.
The pair remain amicable and even friendly with one another since their divorce. When Lamar participated on Dancing with the Stars, he expressed how he would like his ex-wife’s support by seeing her in the audience. Then when Lamar released his tell-all memoir - Darkness to Light - she went to social media and congratulated him on the book and said she was proud of him for all of his personal growth. Now that Lamar revealed via Instagram that he and Sabrina are engaged to be married, a source close to Khloé told Us Weekly that all she wants is Lamar to be happy. The source revealed that Khloé wants “nothing but the best” for Lamar and his recent engagement with Sabrina. However, the source said that Khloé “isn’t surprised Lamar quickly got engaged,” as he and Khloé had gotten engaged after just one month of dating.
Lamar and Sabrina’s engagement was revealed on November 11th with a picture on the former NBA player’s Instagram. He proposed to personal trainer Sabrina with a huge pear-shaped diamond ring after only three months of dating. The source revealed that Khloé apparently “heard about the engagement from friends.” The source said that the Keeping Up with the Kardashian star just “wants him to be happy.”
It seems that Lamar and his new fiancée are very happy and so is Khloé as she’s enjoying the single life with her one-year-old daughter True Thompson. It seems that Khloé is truly becoming a master of letting go of the past and moving forward in her own life as she continues to chase after her own dreams and business ventures. After winning the People’s Choice award this year for the best reality TV star of 2019, it seems that Khloé has plenty to celebrate about as well.
