Keeping Up with the Kardashian star Khloé Kardashian slams criticism shaming her over a social media post of her daughter, True, with a joke caption about watching her weight. The Kardashians are always getting picked on for something.

The reality TV star, Khloé, has been opening her life to criticism since she’s been on Keeping Up with the Kardashians since 2007. The middle sister of Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West, and half-sister to Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, has been through a lot these last few years. She has been very candid about her struggles with her ex-boyfriend, NBA player Tristan Thompson’s cheating with family friend Jordyn Woods, and has been very open about her struggle with her weight as host and creator of Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian since 2017 - where she helps people accept themselves with an inside-out makeover.

Khloé recently posted a series of pictures on her Instagram of her fashionable 1-year-old daughter True Thompson and Kim Kardashians’ 1-year-old daughter Chicago West as the family vacationed in the Bahamas. The post shows the two cousins enjoying the sun while sipping on cold drinks and eating snacks, and is captioned with “Chi: I heard my mama say “vacation calories don’t count” True: Don’t tell me twice Chi.” The adorable photos received plenty of attention as fans criticized Khloé’s joke caption, slamming her for instilling an unhealthy diet-culture to their toddlers.

One of Khloé’s followers didn’t find the humor in the caption as they commented, “Omg a baby doesn’t need to be counting calories.” The Keeping Up with the Kardashian star responded to the critical comment. She set the record straight by pointing out that the caption wasn’t meant to be taken so seriously, writing, “Obviously. You’re not well if you think babies count calories,” with an eye-rolling emoji. That wasn’t the first time Khloé had to stand up to haters on her Instagram account; she was criticized back in July on a video of True riding in a baby-sized Bently, when a follower commented about how materialism is harmful to her child. She clapped back explaining that she can spoil her baby if she wants to.

The Kardashian/Jenner sisters have been faced with criticisms ever since they began the show over a decade ago and especially since they started their own families. It seems that Khloé has grown a thick skin when it comes to criticism toward her, but she turns on mama bear mode when they criticize her parenting or her 1-year-old daughter. It seems that followers will always find something negative to say about the famous family, but thankfully it doesn’t stop them from continuing to share their private moments with the world through Instagram and Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
