Star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore revealed that her intimacy with her husband Marc Daly has suffered since co-sleeping with their child. The former Miss USA recently made the startling revelation about her relationship. Fans of the show may remember how Moore struggled to find a life partner and become pregnant. Now, she’s desperate to keep her family intact.

Ever since her inaugural season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta (via People), she made her biological clock a topic of discussion. In the years that followed, she dated with purpose, introducing her family planning into nearly every relationship she had. Then in June of 2016, Daly and Moore met through a mutual friend. He has gone on record to say that he knew she was the one for him right away. The couple married one year after they met in June 2017. Their daughter was reportedly born via an emergency C-section in November 2018. Shortly after becoming parents, Moore disclosed that the relationship was rife with challenges, including her husband’s reluctance to live in the same city as her. He’s a devout New Yorker; she’s a proud Georgia peach. That, coupled with her husband’s charming adoration for their daughter, has led them to reevaluate their romance.

On the recent episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Moore went on to explain to fellow castmate, Kandi Burruss that the couple’s sexual troubles began long before Brooklyn’s arrival. She confided that Daly started losing interest about six or seven months into the pregnancy, as her belly continued to grow. After the baby’s arrival, the passion failed to resume. While Moore has become a fan favorite on Real Housewives of Atlanta for her frank conversations and in-your-face personality, Daly could also be uncomfortable pursuing intimacy with someone who lives life on such a public forum.

Co-sleeping could be his way of deflecting his lack of interest in the marriage without hurting his wife’s feelings. It could also be his way of bonding with their daughter since he and his wife don’t live in the same place full time. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star explained, “The baby has changed so much in our lives.” Moore continued, “She’s in the bed all the time. He does not want me to put her in a crib.” She revealed what a strain it’s been on her relationship, saying, “It’s been difficult. We [sleep together] when we can, but it definitely is not as often as I would like.”

Based on the lack of sexual interest Daly has shown in his wife since she announced her pregnancy, he’s probably moved on. If not physically, then psychologically or emotionally. If Daly is still faithful to Moore then he may just have a hard time seeing her in a sexual way now that his child has sprung forth from her body. It’s certainly not an enviable situation to have. However, as long as Moore applies the same tenacity to winning back Daly’s affections as she has to become a wife and mother - she might just get her happy ending.
