Kendall Jenner from Keeping Up the Kardashians revealed her upcoming collaboration with Kylie Cosmetics. The statuesque supermodel appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show and hinted at the new product line with her billionaire sister’s company.
n 2014, they teamed up and released their young adult novel, Rebels: City of Indra. They followed up that endeavor in 2015 with a fashion line called Kendall + Kylie. On her own, Kylie has brought her other siblings into the fold, creating strategic partnerships with them through her various eCommerce channels. Her sisters and daughter Stormi each have makeup products to honor them. Brother Rob’s Arthur George socks have performed well on her Kylie Jenner Shop site. Even momager Kris Jenner has figured prominently in merchandise sold by the young mogul.
During her sit-down with the talk-show host, she shed light on everything from older sister Kourtney’s reported departure from the family’s hit reality show, to her widely popular social media posts, to her upcoming product launch with Kylie. Few details were released about the contents of the line at the time. Still, Kendall confessed that she had to wait to get in on the Kylie Cosmetics action due to a prior work commitment. The 24-year-old model also divulged that she’s already promoting the products in her own way. Based on Kendall’s look on The Ellen Show and a sneak-peek vlog the sisters have since released, the collection will contain an eyeshadow palette, some lipsticks, and colors in nude tones for a glam but natural face - similar to older sister Kim’s signature makeup style. A recent Instagram post revealed sister Kylie picking out logos for the capsule collection, as well as ad layouts and color swatches - check out the post below:
Jenner revealed to Ellen, “We haven’t done one yet.” She continued, “I am the last sister or the last family member, I think. I had a contract before with another makeup company. So now I am able to do it.” Kendall also teased what the collection would look like - because she was wearing it during her Ellen appearance. She explained that since they are both daughters of Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner, “We’re really going big because I’m her full blood.”
Fans are still anxiously awaiting this newest endeavor from the talented Jenner sisters. Kendall is absolutely the perfect face for the collection because she looked like a million bucks on the Ellen show. Her ultra glossy lips showcased the nude color she was wearing and complemented her blush and eye colors as well. Kendall is one of the most successful models in the game, yet she still has enough of a connection to her loved ones to continue appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians as well as taking interest in their endeavors and vice versa. Since this family has been huge proponents of passing along generational wealth, it will also be fun to see what Stormi, Chicago, Penelope, North, True, and the other kids do if and when they inherit these wonderful companies. As for the Kendall X Kylie offering, Kylie Cosmetics devotees will reportedly have to wait until November 30th to get their hands on Kendall’s line.
