This year has no shortage of massive franchise installments and blockbusters, but one of the largest on the horizon is Justice League. Zack Snyder’s third installment in the DC Extended Universe is set to bring various superheroes together, including Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg. Superman is also going to be part of the proceedings, though the character has been absent from the marketing materials thus far. This probably has to do with the way his arc ended in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and his resurrection is meant to be a surprise for the audience.

Still, actor Henry Cavill was there on set to play the Man of Steel, and he obviously had a great time. To commemorate the long, but rewarding, process, Cavill sent gifts to members of the crew, including a photo of the production team and a note thanking them for their efforts. As it turns out, his co-stars also received these presents, as Cyborg actor Ray Fisher has revealed on social media.

Fisher took to his Instagram account to post a picture of his gift from Cavill. It is identical to the package the crew received, though Fisher did also get the back of his chair from the set. You can check it out below:

Got a care package stuffed with Justice today. Thank you to our awesome crew, to @henrycavill and a special thanks to whoever managed to snag the back of my chair #BORGLIFE A photo posted by Ray Fisher (@rehsifyar) on Jan 13, 2017 at 12:47pm PST

Obviously, this doesn’t give fans any new plot details to chew over, but it’s still nice to see. A lot of work goes into making a big budget film like Justice League, and even a small token on the part of Cavill goes a long way in making everyone feel appreciated for their contributions. Though the DCEU films to date have all had rough sledding critically, that has not been the product of poor on-set chemistry. The casts of the franchise all get along and like each other, as evidenced by Cavill’s gift bags and the matching “SKWAD” tattoos the stars of Suicide Squad got. Cavill does admit it was “quite the battle” shooting Justice League, but he must have enjoyed the experience and wanted to acknowledge all the blood, sweat, and tears that went into making the movie a reality. If all goes right, this group will be together for a while, so it’s good that Cavill and his Justice League cohorts have developed a friendship.

In his message, Cavill gives a shout out to the crew’s “great humour,” so it will be interesting to see if any of that gets translated on-screen. One of the more common complaints about the DCEU currently is that the films are too dark and bleak for their own good, and could use a bit of levity. Word right now is that Justice League is going to be the change for the DCEU that many have been waiting for, with promises of a “really fun” superhero crossover that will thrill and entertain. The trailer that debuted at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 was well-received, so perhaps Warner Bros. is on the right track.
