The original composer for the Justice League has tweeted out an interesting video suggesting something is coming tomorrow, November 18th, as the hashtag associated with fans begging for the release of the Snyder Cut once again begins trending worldwide. It’s been two years now since the Justice League film landed in theaters, heavily dividing audiences thanks to reshoots and directorial changes associated with family issues. The final product disappointed many fans hoping for a more cohesive story, and since then calls for Warner Brothers to release original director Zack Snyder’s version of the movie have only grown louder.
For the past few weeks, both Snyder himself and various cast and crew members from the Justice League film have been sharing teases and images from Zack Snyder’s original cut, with even Aquaman actor Jason Momoa claiming to have already seen it. Earlier today, even, a new image of Victor Stone wearing football gear was posted to social media, and Zack Snyder, Gal Gadot, and Ben Affleck have all tweeted the hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut. It seems like all this hype has to be building to something, and, if the film’s original composer is to be believed, that something could happen tomorrow.
Tom Holkenborg, the original composer of Justice League, tweeted out a short video clip earlier today with the cryptic message “Tomorrow…” The music accompanying the clip, although hard to determine for sure, seems to indicate the message has something to do with Justice League, and given the current social climate surrounding literally anything having to do with the film and it’s alleged Snyder cut, one can only imagine what response the public had upon it’s release.
At the time of this writing there are over 430 thousand mentions of #ReleaseTheSnyderCut on Twitter alone, not to mention the thousands of supporters on other social media sites. Although it’s been reported there are no imminent plans to release anything new related to Justice League in the near future, fans are surely wondering what all this commotion is leading to.
Whether or not a version of Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be released in the near future, even tomorrow, it’s worth nothing there hasn’t been a social media push like this for any film in quite some time, if ever. Almost half a million people now are asking for Zack Snyder’s original vision for Justice League to be made public, and if that’s not good movie marketing then good marketing doesn’t exist.
