Jordyn Woods recently debuted a new tattoo, a quote on her forearm that hints at the struggle she’s faced over the last six months since the Tristan cheating scandal. Jordyn was featured on Keeping Up With the Kardashians as Kylie Jenner’s best friend before the infamous cheating scandal went down.

21-year-old model and influencer, Jordyn, was allegedly seen at a party kissing Khloé Kardashian’s boyfriend and father of her child, Tristan Thompson. The cheating scandal that was documented on last season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians showed the fallout of Jordyn and Tristan’s actions, with Khloé breaking up with Tristan and labeling Jordyn a home-wrecker. Kylie, torn between her older sister and her best friend, had to choose whose side to take. Kylie, who has a matching BFF tattoo with Jordyn, chose to back her sister. Jordyn then had to face the harsh reality of being cut off from her best friend Kylie and the lavish lifestyle that her BFF had provided, which included buying her gifts, vacations, and letting her stay in the guest house of Kylie’s mansion. The Kardashian/Jenner clan has since cut Jordyn out of their lives and even unfollowed her on all social media. Jordyn has remained fairly quiet about her life since she explained her side of the story to Jada Pinkett Smith on her talk show Red Table Talk, in which denied ever having sex with Tristian.

Since the infamous cheating scandal that broke back in February, Jordyn has been hiding from the spotlight till things calm down. According to Us, She did step out when she attended a UOMA Summer House party in Los Angeles, where she debuted her new tattoo. Her small tattoo that goes down the length of her forearm is a quote inked in a tiny cursive script that reads, “What’s meant for me will never miss me.” The quote is attributed to Al-Shafi‘i, an Arab Muslim Imam, writer, theologian, and scholar.

The full quote reads: “My heart is at ease knowing that what was meant for me will never miss me, and that what misses me was never meant for me.” Jordyn had apparently given fans a glimpse of the new ink on her Instagram stories on August 7 after she was spotted leaving her brother Joshua Wood’s tattoo shop in Los Angeles.

Since the six months after the Tristan cheating scandal, Jordyn has not only lost her support in her best friend Kylie, but has faced the brunt of social media. Needless to say, this has not been the easiest few months for Jordyn or Khloé, as they both had to relive the drama when the Keeping Up With the Kardashian finale aired last month. The quote on her arm could be a reference to many struggles going on in Jordyn’s life, but to fans, it could either be one of two things: a personal, positive affirmation and reminder for Jordyn or… shade directed at the Kardashian family for the way she was treated after the alleged cheating scandal.
