Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World short, Battle at Big Rock, will provide some resolution to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s cliffhanger ending. After a fourteen-year hiatus, the Jurassic Park franchise came roaring back to life with 2015’s Jurassic World, a soft reboot directed and co-written by Trevorrow. The film was a billion-dollar hit and was followed three years later by the almost equally lucrative Fallen Kingdom, with Trevorrow serving as the co-writer and producer only this time....

KGI expects Apple will introduce 1-3 new versions of Apple Watch featuring casing materials other than the aluminium, stainless steel, and 18k gold options its launching next month. Apple will be a client of Ive’s new design firm, but he will not be an Apple employee. In a press release, Apple said that Ive will depart the company as an employee and form his own independent design firm. Apple will be one of the new firm’s primary client....

Although Darkseid was removed completely from the theatrical version of Justice League, the DC supervillain’s role in the Snyder Cut carried a fair amount of significance. The Justice League reshoots, which were done in Zack Snyder’s absence after the director left the film due to a family tragedy, resulted in the theatrical cut of the movie departing heavily from what Snyder had intended. Among the many alterations made to the film was the removal of a large number of DC characters - both major and minor - including Darkseid, who would only be referenced with a single line of dialogue by Steppenwolf, “For the Unity!...

John Wick star Keanu Reeves says he wants another crack at the world of DC Comics’ Constantine, having portrayed demon-slaying protagonist John Constantine back in a 2005 film adaptation. Though some fans of the TV character may object, DC Comics should seriously consider taking him up on the offer if the price is right. On top of DC’s current internal scramble to produce films like last year’s Aquaman that can hope to compete with the moneymaking juggernaut that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the company would also be wise to give Reeves a chance to reprise his leading Constantine role because the actor has made a massive resurgence in recent years....

Actor and comedian Kevin Hart arrived on set to commence filming on a new project, five months after surviving a near-catastrophic car accident. The stand-up got his first big break from Judd Apatow in 2001 on the often-forgotten TV series Undeclared. Since then, he’s starred in major blockbusters (and their sequels) like Ride Along, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, and the animated hit The Secret Life of Pets. His return to filming comes on the heels of multiple announcements for future projects, such as a third Ride Along, two new TV series, and a remake of the 1988 comedy The Great Outdoors....

A morning report from KGI reiterates production issues we’ve been hearing about the iPhone X, indicating that only 2-3 million units will be shipped for sale before the launch on November 3rd (preorders open a week from today).
