KGI Securities has issued a new report on iPhone 8 and Apple Watch Series 3 pre-order sales after the initial launch weekend. Both new products hit stores this Friday with pre-orders starting three days ago. KGI believes the iPhone X may be impacting iPhone 8 sales while the Apple Watch Series 3 is seeing stronger-than-expected demand. In today’s report, KGI notes that newly launched iPhones typically ship 3-6 weeks after being ordered while most iPhone 8 models are shipping in 1-2 weeks or less....

According to a report from Reuters, following a request from Greenlight Capital, a judge has blocked Apple from going through with a shareholder proposal that would require a shareholder vote before issuing preferred stock. The request by Greenlight Capital’s David Einhorn followed a lawsuit that claimed Apple’s upcoming “Proposal 2” does not adhere to regulatory rules.
